WHY DO PEOPLE WORK SO HARD TO PERFECT SARAH PALIN IMPRESSIONS XDD

Seriously, I was kinda torn exactly what to do for the Nostalgia Chick's poster (which, just based off of what I heard, this leeching off of TGWTG fame with posters wouldn't be complete without her's ;D). I was torn between doing a "PANK" joke, making a reference to the line "waving around her ovaries" from her one video on "The Smurfette Principle," or... I don't know, but it probably would have been a distasteful joke about how everyone makes her out to be a sex symbol.

Luckily, last night's episode gave me some Sarah Palin fodder to work with... unfortunately, I ended up making a Naruto joke in the process. OH WELL. No points for subtlety, but this was funny as hell: meleeing people with a FUCKING shoe one second, then acting innocent and retarded the next. Genius. A+. Societies deserve to fall to this strategem (please not america ;A; ).


Being a man, in the age range of being a stereotypical pervert, I should probably comment on my views on the Nostalgia Chick- especially if she stumbles upon this like the Nostalgia Critic and Linkara did with yesterdays poster (YAY THEY TALKED TO ME WITH THEIR KEYBOARD. I HAS PROOF OF BEING SPECIAL NOW). See, while perhaps a twinge of my rabid fandom of her show lies in the fact that she is indeed the lead female in a sausage fest cast, sexy and pleasing to the eyes, and has that sort of nerd charm. I'm also ashamed to admit, she was probably my first celebrity crush after RESISTING NINETEEN YEARS AGAINST THE SYSTEM, but somehow the fact she's a Z-list pseudo-celebrity makes it seem at least a bit more sane on my part as opposed to idiots who have A-list celebrity crushes.

(See, I'm 25 letters more sane then everyone else.)

But on top of these carnal and superficial reasons- WHICH, lets admit, we all have -I genuinely enjoy her show for what it is too. Which is odd, because I really shouldn't give a damn about a "My Little Pony" review or anything like that, but its fun to get a different perspective on things I'm less familiar with (God knows I don't even really like most MOVIES but I still watch the Critic, so I guess its fair).

Plus, whereas James the AGVN has given me insight on how NOT to program a game and Bob the Game Overthinker has given me insight on what not to do in game/character/plot design IN GENERAL, the Nostalgia Chick has offered a guy- who was already rather interested in the subject, mind you -learn how to NOT portray the fairer gender. Simple, simple things that can be fixed early in development. And I admit, some of my casts (like for Vaudevillian) still remain pretty MALE and make fine lines between the genders, they at least offer up a good explaination as to WHY. (Like the later parts of Vaudevillian explores, probably, a rather good explanation as to why the "Smurfette" principle occurs so often in fiction, being a work of fiction itself)

That, and to people who chastise her for being over opinionated or a borderline feminist in some cases, saying she'd be hotter if she'd shut up, to you I say FUCK YOU. There are already enough over sexual, blonde bimbos out there for you to feed on. Seriously. Some people do prefer women, and people for that matter, WHO DISPLAY SIGNS OF HAVING A BRAIN. So let it be. Some of us like the discussion, like the opinions, and sometimes agree that society has a hard on for machismo over the ideal of gender equality.
